Intervals can now be defined and maintained for each age group.  A default is currently set to 1 hour and 50 minutes if an age group is not defined.  This default can be changed.

The process will not proceed until all ID’s have been entered;  b) Corrected error in importing of teams (TMP file was created as  read-only, preventing an update).  Ignoring the error allowed import to proceed;  c) Added edit at end of import to query System Configuration table for running of Check Game Overlap process should be run (See item 1 above.).  When this check is run, any games that do not meet the minimum time for games will be reported on a text file in the AssignorPro folder.  This file is named:  CloseGameTimes.txt.  At present, not all age groups have been defined and will default to 1 hour and 50 minutes.  A future update will add a table for maintaining the minimum times by age group. The following table contains the age groups defined and intervals:

2.        Export Unassigned Games:  Corrected potential problem in selecting leagues with unassigned games  when league ID’s are similar in composition.  For example, League ID’s ABC and ABCD would cause all selections that started with ABC to not be uploaded if you selected ABCD and not ABC.

The following items have been changed, added or corrected in Version 1.1 Build 1121 (08-24-2010)

1.       Referee Availability Import: Used the Date field in the form to determine from what date to import records from the downloaded Availability DB.  Default date is the current date.  This will shorten the length of time to import Availability records.  Removed the Initialization checkbox when Availability is selected.  Changed default Select File option to force selection of one of the three options.  If none is selected and the Download button is clicked, focus will return to the Select File option.

2.       Web Availability Upload:  Corrected problem where selected referees from Event list were not the referees used in creating the Availability table.  Added background table to database for future use.

3.       Worksheets Menu: Moved Availability worksheets together in menu list.  Note: When running the Referee Availability Report you may use a date range to limit the number of records displayed.  Note:  when running the Availability Responses report, the date range is used to limit the records selected to the response date, not the availability dates.

The following items have been changed, added or corrected in Version 1.1 Build 1120 (08-23-2010)

1.       Referee Unavailability report: Changed name of report to ‘Referee Availability Report.’  If a Referee has indicated that they are available all day this will be indicated on the report with and ‘*’ under the ‘P’ column and ‘(Available All Day)’ in the description.  All other periods shown are for periods that they are Unavailable.  Made cosmetic changes to report layout.  Eliminated overlapping fields and Day data.

The following items have been changed, added or corrected in Version 1.1 Build 1119 (08-17-2010)

1.        Import Referee Availability: Corrected error where Availability was reversed for periods marked as Available.

The following items have been changed, added or corrected in Version 1.1 Build 1118 (08-16-2010)

1.       Referee Availability: Prior to downloading this update build you must, utilizing a build prior to Build 1118, download and initialize the latest Availability from the website if you have not already done so and it is known that data exists to be download.  The following changes have been made to Referee Availability:

a.       Web Page Availability:  Referee availability entered on the website will be kept on the website as well as in AssignorPro.  When a referee selects Availability they will be requested for their Access Code.  Any previously entered Availability will be displayed on the page.  After changes are made to the matrix, upon clicking the Confirm button their changes will be saved on the website and the confirmation page will be displayed.  After entering or changing personal information and affiliations or comments, the email will be sent to them and the Assignor.  Significant error checking has been included on the checkboxes to eliminate ambiguous entries.  Because the availability information is retained on the website, the ‘Update’ checkbox has been removed.  This enhancement removes the number of dates (250 cell) limit in the availability matrix.

b.       Exports-Export Web Availability:  This requires that Referee Data for all referees that you expect to use during the season be uploaded prior to this Availability upload.  An event needs to be created containing all currently registered referees that you expect to use for the season.  As you add referees to Referee Data, you will need to add them to your Events and you will need to re-upload these referees.  Without this Referee upload they will not be able to log onto the Availability page and enter their availability.  The Export Upload is now changed to creating an Availability database of all existing availability that has been defined on AssignorPro based upon your events and selected referees. The Availability database can then be uploaded to the website.  It is recommended that before an upload is performed, that you perform an Availability Download and Import.

c.        Imports-Download Web-Availability:  This process downloads the Availability database and imports all updated availability into AssignorPro.

d.       Enter Unavailability: This form is called from the Referee Data form as in the past.  Any updates that you manually enter here to a Referee’s availability will be uploaded the next time you upload availability.  One item has been added.  You can now define All Day availability in this form.  The period is defined with an asterisk (*).  Do not delete this record and do not mark ‘For Web’.  It is recommended that before manual updates are made to this table that you perform an Availability Download and Import.

e.        Availability Import report:  Removed.

f.        Referee Availability Responses Report:  This has been changed to use the new Availability data.  As in the past this reports is filtered by the Update From and to dates.

2.       Referee Events:  Added display of number of referees selected out of all referees in list to the Selection Grid Title.  The number is updated whenever the [View List] button is clicked.

The following items have been changed, added or corrected in Version 1.1 Build 1117 (08-07-2010) (Includes build 1116)

1.        Field Descriptions:  Added Field Name to table.  Updated related reports to output Field Name.

2.        Referee Assignment Conflicts worksheet:  Changed the report so that the games selected are within the date range entered.

3.        AssignorPro Uninstall: When uninstalling AssignorPro, the uninstall will delete all database tables and temporary files.  This will remove the requirement to delete the AssignorPro system folder prior to installing a new full version of AssignorPro. (This only applies to systems that are Full System Download and Installs effective with this Build)

4.        System Configuration:  Added field to enable/disable access Game Results form from Core Data menu.

5.        Game Results:  Added Game Results form to the System.  Game scores and Sportsmanship may now be entered dependent upon System Configuration settings in Reports/Admin tab.  If  web capability is configured, the game scores will also be uploaded when the Scheduled Games are uploaded to the website.

6.        Game Schedule:  When searching for a game the find Game dialog has been speeded up by just clicking the desire search option.  Once clicked it will go directly to the search field.  You no longer have to click the find button after selecting an option.

The following items have been changed, added or corrected in Version 1.1 Build 1115 (04-27-2010)

1.        Import Web files-Confirmations:  Changed method of importing and updating the confirmations (acceptances and turnbacks).  The import will download the complete database of assignments containing the acceptances and turnbacks and update the AssignorPro database from that database.  Only the current assignments contained on the web database will be imported.  A history of confirmations will no longer be maintained.  The user interface for the import will remain the same.  Confirmation and Turnback reports will be updated to correspond with the new method.

The following items have been changed, added or corrected in Version 1.1 Build 1114 (04-15-2010)

1.       Game Schedule:  Corrected variable not found error (GOTOGMTM).  This error occurred when going directly to the Complex field.  Ignoring the option was the workaround.

2.       Systems Configuration:  Added File Transfer Protocol (FTP) timeout value to the Web/Misc. tab.  This field was added to work around the problem with extremely slow connections which caused the default timeout to be used and failure of file downloads and uploads.  These slow connections have been experienced with mobile phone internet connections.

3.       Export Web Assignments:  Corrected error where a few games were duplicated in the display of assignments.

The following items have been changed, added or corrected in Version 1.1 Build 1113 (04-06-2010)

1.        Download Web Files-Availability:  a) Corrected variable not found error (X_COUNT).  This error occurred when the first imported availability record was for a referee that was not present in the Referee Data Table.  b) Changed updating of Availability Responses table to update referee name and not found flag whenever the import is run in those cases where the import data is edited prior to running the database update.

2.        Referee Availability Responses Report:  Made cosmetic changes: a) Highlighted “Referee Not Found” message in RED.  b) Formatted phone number.

The following items have been changed, added or corrected in Version 1.1 Build 1112 (04-05-2010)

1.       Download Web Files-Confirmations:  Corrected error in un-assigning turn-back games from Game Assignments table.  Old confirmations prior to the current were checked for turn-backs and if the Referee Code and the previous Game Number matched, the game was un-assigned even if it was not the same game.  This can be caused when games are deleted, new games imported and the game numbers are renumbered.

2.       Import Teams and Schedules:  Corrected error in numbering games.   The game number was not incremented and saved properly which caused duplicate game numbers to be initially created.  When games have already been assigned and then renumbered, the assigned games were incorrectly assigned to the wrong game number.

The following items have been changed, added or corrected in Version 1.1 Build 1111 (04-01-2010)

1.        Registration Code:  The Registration Code field has been expanded to 16 characters from 12.  This was necessary due to violations of the application protection process.  After this update is installed you will need to enter your new Registration Code.  You will have either received this new code via email or will need to request it from Support@AssignorPro.com.

2.        Assigned Referee Phone List:  To create an Excel file of Referees assigned for specified dates and their phone numbers, press the <Ctrl-Shift-L> keys from the main AssignorPro form.  The dates used will be the report From: and To: dates last entered for any report that uses those dates entered in the Output Report Form.  A status message is displayed when the export is completed showing the folder location and name of the file.

7.       Game Report Cards:  Updated report to show Overtime and ‘Kicks From The Penalty Mark’ (KFTPM) results for Quarter/Semi/Final Rounds in place of the optional Sportsmanship Data at the bottom of the Card.  The display of KFTPM depends on the proper data entry of the appropriate round described in paragraph 6, above.

1.     Team Data:  Added validation when leaving the Team # field to verify that the combination of the Club ID and the Team # is unique.  NOTE:  A clarification that even if there is only one team in the club, a unique Club ID must be created for each team created.  If there is more than one team for a club in an age group, then the Team # must be used to make the team unique.  If a duplication/pre-existing Club ID and Team # is found, an error message is displayed and the cursor is returned to the Team # field.  For example, if in the B19 age group there are two teams, Team White and Team Blue, and the Club ID is ABCD, then a Team # of ‘A’ for Team White and a Team # of ‘B’ must be defined to make the Teams unique.  B19-ABCD-A and B19-ABCD-B.

2.       Web Assignment Database:  In preparation for enhancing the website capabilities, a new database with assignment data has been defined that will allow expanded grid capabilities to be implemented.  One of those features is the capability to check off each game to be accepted or turned back.  This new grid also improves the visual appearance of the grid and streamlines the printing of the contents of the grid.  For those clients with the Web Option, this update must be loaded before the new web pages can be turned on.

3.       PDF Reports:  Added missing support files for a prior software library update for PDF file creation.  Some PDF reports may have appeared to be formatted incorrectly.

4.       Import Game Schedule:  A sample Excel Spreadsheet, named ‘GameScheduleImportSample.xls’, is included in this update that can be used as a template to import League, Division, Club, Team, Complex, Field and Schedule data directly into AssessorPro.  For more details on importing this data, see the related Help documentation.

The games will renumber from ‘00001’ from the  earliest game in the schedule based on Game Date, Complex, Game Time and Field order.  If game assignments have already started it will also make corresponding renumber changes to assigned games.  Added check and creation of Error report to show games in the import file that are scheduled on the same field, date and time.

2.      Web Import: Changed Web Availability import to add import of changes to previously submitted unavailability.  This capability will import from both formats of CSV files, with and without ‘change’ column.  Updating the Availability web page will require coordination to change web pages and format of CSV file.

 1.      AssessorPro Export:  Added module to export specific games for import into AssessorPro – The Referee Assessment System.  This export is a convenience to Assessors who have installed AssessorPro allowing them to import games to be assessed that have been assigned by assignors who use AssignorPro.

The following items have been changed in Version 1.1 Build 1063 (12-10-2007).

 1.       Referee Pay Rates:  Modified Pay Rate table to expand collected data to separate rates as Dual Referee and Single Referee.  Ray Rate Reports have been adjusted accordingly.  Changed Age: From and To fields to allow for non-numeric (alpha) data to be entered.  For example, V,JV for Varsity and Junior Varsity designations.  NOTE:  These separate rates work only if the Game Schedule has been correctly defined in the Assign Type field to reflect 3: Three Referee System; 2: Dual Referee System; 1:Single Referee.  If the Assign Type field is left blank, a default of 3 is assumed.

2.       League Data:  Corrected error in validating League/Tournament Type.  Added Error Message.

3.       League, Club, Team, Schedule Import:  Made the following changes and added notes to the import:

a)       If data is re-imported, certain fields are not re-imported, such as Club, Team, Field names.  Only ID-type fields or specific scheduling information such as team, date, time, complex or field data will be updated.  Corrections to name-type data must be done manually through the data maintenance fields.  New import data will be added to the tables.  This change was made so that manually updated data would not be overwritten.

b)       Changed the Field numbering format to allow for different formats of field numbers.  1) Three digit, 001;  2)  two digit, 01;  3) a combination of leading digits and trailing alpha, ‘01A’.

c)     Import Notes

                         I.      Field Complex ID’s are created from the first four characters of the Field Complex name.  When two different Field Complexes start with the same first four characters, one of the Field Complex names should be prefixed with a unique four character ID.  This Name can then be changed in the Complex Data maintenance form by removing the ID from the imported name.

II.      Changed import to convert Club Names to Proper Upper Lowercase format to enforce consistency and avoid creating two different club records for the same club.  This can happen when the data is entered as either XYZ or Xyz.  The conversion will change the Name to Xyz.

III.      Club Names:  Club names are created from the first occurrence of a Team Name.  For example, if ‘Sockers Gold’ is the first team occurrence for the ‘Sockers Football Club’, ‘Sockers Gold’ will be imported into the Club name.  The Club Name should be changed to ‘Sockers Football Club’ after the completion of the import.

IV.      Imports should be broken down into imports by Team age Groups.  For example,  if the age groups in the schedule are B10, B12, B14, and so on,  the imports should be by those unique separate groups,

                       V.      AssignorPro Game #’s are created in Game Date, Complex, Game Time, Field # order.

VI.      A Division Name or number must be included when importing data.  The Division number and name does not have to be used when manually entering data.
